2006 BSFA Awards shortlist
The British Science Fiction Association Awards shortlist has been announced. The awards for Novel, Short Fiction and Artwork will be presented at the Eastercon on Saturday 7th April. Looks like a good list. I’ve posted the 5 novels below; click the link to see the artwork and short fiction nominees.
Best Novel
Darkland, by Liz Williams
End of the World Blues, by Jon Courtenay Grimwood
Icarus, by Roger Levy
The Last Witchfinder, by James Morrow
Nova Swing, by M. John Harrison
I’ve heard a lot about Icarus by Levy so it wouldn’t surprise me if that won. Or End of the World Blues; Grimwood always does good stuff. I can’t really say without having read them yet, though.
